Worksop Wire’s pick: Kilton House
Pioneer leads on raw rating and Dai Family on volume, but if we had to back one with our own money tonight it would be Kilton House. Twenty-five-plus years of the same owners is a serious thing in this trade. The food is consistent, the staff are warm, the chilli beef is reliably excellent – and the 4.2 score across more than a hundred reviews has barely budged in years. That kind of stability is harder to fake than a flash-in-the-pan high score.
