Worksop Town FC lost 3-2 to Hereford FC at the Windsor Foodservice Stadium after a difficult first half let them down, though they recovered with two goals in the second period.
The Bulls dominated early on with three first-half goals. Andrew Williams opened the scoring in the fourth minute, then Kenziah Martin added a second shortly after. Defender Keenan Quansah made it 3-0 before half time with a header from a corner routine.
Manager Craig Parry made three substitutions at the break and the changes worked immediately. Lewis Whitham smashed a shot into the top corner in the 47th minute, then Jay Rollins headed home a second in the 80th minute after Whitham's cross to the back post. The comeback fell short, however, with the three-goal deficit proving too much to overturn.
Worksop remain one point above the relegation zone in the National League North. They travel to Bedford Town on Tuesday 10 March for their next match. An attendance of 816 was recorded at the ground.
