Worksop Town secured the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Worsbrough Bridge at the Eco-Power Stadium on 29 April. The win marks a historic achievement, making the Tigers the first team in 127 years to claim the cup for three consecutive seasons.

The home side dominated the first half. Szhem Whyte-Hall opened the scoring in the fourth minute, tapping in after a clever build-up involving Lewis Whitham and Mason O'Malley. Worksop continued to press, with Lewis Whitham hitting the crossbar with a curling free-kick as they controlled play.

The Tigers doubled their lead in the 54th minute when Oli Greaves finished from close range after Whitham's excellent cross. Worsbrough Bridge pulled one back with a penalty in the 84th minute, converted after a high press forced an error.

Despite a tense finale and Worksop being reduced to ten men near the end, the Tigers held firm to claim the trophy. Szhem Whyte-Hall earned man of the match for his tireless running and creativity down the left flank throughout the contest.

The cup success continues a strong period for the club at the Eco-Power Stadium.
